When registering a new account you will need to provide the following details:
Your email address may show up on listings or flyers If you're creating a new listing. Because of this we recommend you register for a free email account with Gmail or another email provider using the name of whatever it is that was LOST, FOUND, STOLEN or MISSING and use that when you register, or else another disposable or temporary email account.
We have created LOFOSTO with the best of intentions but there are a lot of shady people out there that might pull your email address from your listing and spam you!
While we do need your physical address for geolocation purposes if you're uncomfortable giving us your full address please put Unknown in the address line 1 and fill in everything else, this should give us enough gelocation data to serve your listing and provide other useful features without your full address being "out there".
